2022-08-11 21:13:32 +0000 UTCFor what it's worth, I think the less pornographic angle was interesting. I like exploring how unfamiliar and awkward xenos are with certain feelings like intimacy. It makes sense that it's confusing when their biology is such a jumble. The conflict between their animal instincts and urges with the higher levels of consciousness that they have makes for interesting storytelling potential. JMO.
