I didn’t understand the hype about this one. too much roughness and forcefulness always. i started watching but i dropped it at first episode 😭 not my cup of tea, also it’s not very natural and realistic, a lot of cringy stuff happening and watching this as a queer person is not impressive

I think many girls like this BL (just like I did at first), up until the moment they ask themselves: what if Wu Suo Wei were a girl instead? There’s the answer. That’s why I understand why most male reactors I watch are not impressed with this series… because when you associate yourself with the main character, you just can’t enjoy seeing him treated that way

I also don’t enjoy Chi Cheng’s forcefulness but he does ease up on it later on, around these episodes actually. Thank you for reacting to this show and trust and believe that it gets better lol

2025-08-21 07:50:09 +0000 UTCtotally feel the same way as you on the losing charm part! I guess being rough/forceful is an aspect of his character (him being really charming but also so used to get what he wants and also prone to anger), but he truly loses his appeal in those moments
