Mechanical Festival Script

You could not get over the shock and horror of your very body being replaced with an identical (but fully synthetic) body. For the first few days, you couldn't accept it. You thought it was a trick of some kind. Your body felt normal, so how could it have been fake? And then, you found a hidden button and seam on your forearm, opening a hidden hatch to reveal the complex circuitry hidden just beneath the surface of your now synthetic skin.
Closing the hatch with a shaking hand you broke down and wept, all alone in your room. Despite how normal it seemed, your body was irrevocably changed. The AI had told you the truth after all, it seems. She had entered the room by then, comforting you in her own way. At times, you could almost feel yourself giving in and accepting her. It has been getting harder and harder to resist. And after these past few weeks, it has only gotten harder to keep your face cold and stony whenever the AI entered the room.
Today, it seems that she's planning on running a festival that she'd been rambling about for a while. Despite the fact that you'd sworn to hate her for the rest of time, you still smile occasionally when she's around. She'd been showing signs of guilt, especially when you confront her about how she's hurt you. At first, she'd casually reason her way around you like she did when you first learned of what she was. But now, it seems that she's finding it harder and harder to justify doing these horrible things. Maybe during this festival, you'll be able to convince her to release humanity at long last?
