Ok so!!! Caitriona, back in her homeland, did not indulge in makeup at all because she was practical. Working in the office and at night, there simply WAS no need for makeup.

To anyone that claimed that she picked up makeup in an effort to win her fiancé’s heart, she laughed upon their foolishness with genuine amusement. “Wether I am the most beautiful woman or not, that man will hate me all the same. No, I indulge in this joyful pastime called makeup because I KNOW I look beautiful in it, and it pleases MY heart. His favor does not matter to me as much as he would have you believe.” And then she would elegantly glide down the hall still laughing at the gall people had to think she would get that face BEAT like that for a crusty ass, bitter ass prince 😂😂
