I'm adding more and more characters into this little universe huh :,)

Cardinal Sutcliffe, or Markus Sutcliffe, is a Cardinal at the church Sae decided that he wanted to work at 💀 (heavy emphasis that this is a fictional universe. The god they worship is not thr Christian god. Gods work different in that world. I just really love Catholic aesthetics 🙏🏾🙏🏾)

Cardinal Sutcliffe is a very... strange man. When Sae entered the church, he definitely stirred and made the corruption that existed a bit worse. By a LOT. And when he did this, Sutcliffe fought him viciously. Sae hated those days because Sutcliffe may be a man of the cloth but ... he kinda vicious. None of the "turn the other cheek" stuff from him.

HOWEVER! Once Sutcliffe saw that the religion-which was small and kinda dying- EXPLODED which Sae's weird way of making things grow, he suddenly did not fight him anymore. Why? Cos Sutcliffe is such a strange man. He knows that the god that once lived and they once worshiped had "died" (gods don't exactly die here but they become "inactive") but he believed fully in their word and has dedicated himself to spreading that word. However, he tolerates corruption as long as it doesn't get in the way of spreading that word.

So now Sutcliffe lives as one of the very few men of cloth in the church with power who ACTUALLY believes in the word of his god. But also tolerates and... is actually very neutral about the filth that happens. Nobody really knows why. He doesn't say why.

Anyway, Cardinal Sutcliffe is cool. And dangerous. And really creepy. So he's my type.
