I think that… making comics has actually taken a toll on my ability to draw. Bc I’m always chasing deadlines, I normally don’t have the strength/energy/arm juice to do personal work. It’s been like that for a while. To the point where I sit to draw a character outside the context of the comic and I can’t.

I'm glad to see that you managed to make personal art! 😊 But as you said, working full-time on comics must definitely affects your ability to do personal art. It's a bit like working full-time as a graphic designer, but trying to do some graphic design for myself afterwards. At some point it becomes like... too much, even though I like it. I need to do something else at some point. And in art it must be even more complicated, because it requires a lot of inspiration and you need to be in the right mood. In any case, this experiment came out really well and thank you for sharing it with us! 😋
