Hmmmmmmmmm. I won’t get too much into it. But to make a long story short, Wren uhhh, well look, until the divorce happened, mans rly went thru it. He freaked tf out about it. But then he came to peace with it. And at that point he like… loved Ladi, but not like a husband. More like a friend. Eventually the divorce happened, and Ladi had his own little tweaker moment but he tweaks differently (by moving to a new country and pretending that actually it didn’t rly matter like that and he’s chill, not bothered at all)

But really, he finds great difficulty in accepting this reality. He struggles to make sense of someone whose love for him he could see manifested in their eyes every time he looked into them not feeling much at all for him anymore. Struggles to see that he is neither hated nor loved, just… exists. Well he is also very drunk here, cos he would otherwise NEVER voice these thoughts to Wren. Those are his thoughts to manage, he wouldn’t really want to subject Wren to thoughts he feels are strange and erratic.
