Why does the Seamaster Aqua Terra Cost MORE Than the SMP300?!?!

I've always wondered why the Aqua Terra costed MORE than the Seamaster Diver 300! I've scoured the internet looking for answers! BUT I'M STILL NOT SATISFIED!!! Do any of you guys know why!??!

I own and love them both and I can easily say that the Aquaterra is the better watch of the two. Twin barrel co-axial escapement vs Single, jump hour and with reversible date change, greater dial real estate and a better bracelet. It's a no brainer
