I have been feeling downright rotten this week. But I am SOOO HAPPY I've finally finished this one! This video is just some of my reflection on the Morgan Stanley Swiss Watch Report for 2022 AAAAAND me whinging that watches just keep costing more! >=[
Now, this isn't just like, a Rolex thing. This is across the board! I find myself complaining about Seiko price hikes, lol! Seiko, GS, JLC, Rolex, Tudor, ALS, EVERYONE has had massive price increases between 2019 and now. Here's some of my reflections on why, and why I don't think it will stop.
A couple of things I wish I clarified in this video: 1. This is just talking about MSRP. I know I often get in trouble when doing some secondary market speculations ;) but this is just quantifiable stuff about MSRP prices. and 2. I am not the voice of God. I am wrong all the time! And I miss stuff all the time! So I'd love to hear your thoughts and if this is something you have noticed as well! <3

Awesome video, one of the best and most interesting yet. So I bought my Explorer 2 in 2009 for 2800 GBP at the same time I bought my wife a quartz Tissot diamond Pearl dial watch for 256 GBP. The Tissot is within 10% of where it was in 2009… Rolex!!!! 300%+. Just bought 2 watches this week 100% inline with your video, Moon Swatch mission to Pluto and the new white Tissot PRX full lume dial. Both very fun but cheap. Don’t get me wrong there are still deals out there for amazing watches, last years models, grey market but I think you are 100% right that the core of the Swiss watch market will be completely out of reach for most in the next 3-5 years. Sad but true…. Oh well think my next purchase will be a Seiko Monster… Cheers. Thoughts and prayers for your continued recovery from Dirty Leeds and his Canadian hottie 👍🏻👍🏻😂
