this part is on drop patterns and how i sequence sounds to create interesting drops that are the perfect balance between repetition and interest.
- A B A C pattern, A B A B pattern
- reference a few LSS songs
- my approach is to get a few exciting bits in play, write and then boil it down to the best. chopping samples leads me to where i have to fill the gaps in.
- if you're really stuck, lean on drop patterns from existing loops. or resample and warp 2x 1/2
- i think a full video on arrangement should be in the cards!
