RJ Rambling

Had a good week last week that ended with a super-stressful Sunday. Yesterday I had friends over to play games together and watch movies. It was really fun, but about ten minutes before everybody got to my house, the faucet in my bathroom broke.
It was spraying water like crazy and not draining as fast as it was spraying, so I was freaking out and yelling for my partner for help. Then she was scooping water out of the sink while I ran around looking for a way to shut the water off. The sink didn't have a shut-off valve, so I had to run outside and turn the water off to the whole house.
We found a way to get the faucet to stay mostly off, reducing the stream to a drizzle, by putting a lot of pressure on the faucet handle and then taping it down. It worked long enough for us to play games with our friends and ignore the problem for a while. Then, after they left, I bought a new faucet and planned on fixing it last night. Unfortunately, there were a couple rubber hoses under the sink that were brittle and snapped when I tried to remove them. Then, I couldn't get the old faucet out of the vanity either. By then all the hardware stores were closed.
So I shut the water off to the house again and went to bed.
Today I just woke up. Have to take out the old vanity, then go pick up a new one along with a couple hoses and shut-off valves, then install everything. Not what I wanted to do today. Today was supposed to be the last day for me testing the game before sending it out to beta testers. That means that betas will probably not get it until Wednesday now.
Other than this mess, I've been feeling pretty good. Really exhausted right now though.
