I'm feeling much better this week than I have in a while. I went to the doctor last week and got a shot and got some pills and kicked that sinus infection. My throat is still kinda sore and I don't quite sound normal when I talk, but I feel WAY better.
Things are getting back to normal around here. We have been hiking a lot again, and I've been enjoying that a ton. My anxiety hasn't been as bad, lately, so I've been a lot more comfortable going out places and doing more things. I'm trying to do more of that and not hole up in my house as much. Also have switched my diet around a little and that is making me feel much better too. Nothing major, just cutting back on coffee a bit and eating less nuts and dried fruit and dairy, and more grains and fresh fruit and cooked vegetables. I was having some digestion issues and I'm hoping that this will help me feel better in that category too. Plus, we're looking for things that are easily transportable in a backpack, so we can have picnics and such on our hikes. It's been really fun.
I've still been playing Tears of the Kingdom in my spare time. I think I'm at the point where I could go finish the game now, but I'm enjoying doing all the side stuff, so I'm playing around with all of that first. I've really loved playing the game. Overall, I'm not sure I love it as much as I loved Breath of the Wild, but it's been a great time.
I played Breath of the Wild back when I first got my Switch, in like 2016, I think, when it was released. Like I think a lot of people, it was the whole reason I bought a Switch. After finishing Breath of the Wild, I moved on to playing through Super Mario Odyssey. Now, so close to finishing Tears of the Kingdom, playing through a new Super Mario game is what I'm craving. I'm surprised there hasn't been anything about an Odyssey 2 or something. I thought that game did very well and was well-loved? And it could have coincided with the new movie. Seems like a missed opportunity.
Anyways, that's about all I have going on right now. Still painting miniatures and watching Dimension 20 and catching up on Critical Role and all of that too. Pretty much same-old, same-old around here, but the hiking has me really excited at the moment.
Love you all and hope you have a great week!
