Hey everybody! I'm feeling significantly better than I did when I wrote the ramblings last week. Just as a little update, the friends who ghosted me, did finally get back to me a week and a half or so after I sent them the text message. They weren't able to hang out or anything, but at least they responded to my message and I don't feel quite so invisible.

Last night I hung out with Mango and our two good guy friends. Our friendship feels very surface level, but at least its something. I'd still like to have some good close friends, but I'll take what I can get right now. And last night what I got was pretty nice.

Anyways, the weather is warming up in Texas over the next week or so. It's been rainy and down in the 30s/40s and I've been cold and haven't felt like going outside. This week is sunny and in the 60s, so I'm looking forward to hiking. Plan on going on a little hike after work today and then taking Wednesday off to go on a longer hike in a new place.

I've been thinking about other hikes as well. I may end up going on an overnight backpacking trip in March, depending on weather and everything. I want to try to go on one or two before May. Because in May, I'm planning on going on my first long backpacking trip. We're planning a six day/five night hike. Don't want to say where or anything yet, but I'm pretty excited about it.

I plan on taking two vacations this year. The first, which is a backpacking trip in May. The second, Mango wants to go to Washington State for a few reasons, so I think we're going to try to do that in August.

Everything of course depends on money and weather and time and the state of the world, but I'm really looking forward to both of these vacations. Ready to get away and see new stuff.

Aside from working on Come Home for the last week, I've been thinking a lot about my next game and I've been laying down the groundwork for it. I'm also really excited about it, though nervous about Come Home coming to an end. I'll talk a little about that in another Ramblings I think though. I should get to work now.
