RJ's Ramblings

Last week was pretty interesting. As mentioned in my Friday update, we had a really bad storm at the beginning of the week that knocked our power out for a day. Luckily, my new Lego set had just come in, so I spent the day putting together the Lego set, since I couldn't really do much else. I love it, it's so cute!
Then, later in the week, me and my partner both got our second vaccine shots. I felt it almost immediately, as soon as I got home. Like I had drank a bottle of cough medicine, plus body aches and stiffness. Took me out for like a day and a half, which I mostly spent in bed either sleeping or watching YouTube. Not fun. Still, glad to be vaccinated now. One less thing to worry about.
Besides all that stuff, I've been playing a bit of video games in my spare time. Still playing The Binding of Isaac, but also have been playing a lot of this game called Fury Unleashed, that is a roguelike run and gun game, sort of like a roguelike Metal Slug? It's really fun. I also started playing the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy remake game that came out a year or to back. I've played a ton of games, but never played through a Crash game before. Having a blast with this one - it's really tough, but I like it a lot.
And finally - I started playing through Resident Evil Village. Oh man, I was so hyped for this game and it's lived up to it completely. It's SO good. I can't wait til tonight when I can play more of it. My partner, who is not much of a gamer, loves to watch me play through Resident Evil games, and we've been having a blast with it so far.
