Hey everybody!

Mari decided to go full she-wolf this Halloween.

As for me? Outside of working on the game, it been pretty same-old, same-old. I've been watching/reading/playing games a lot.

First, Metroid Dread - I bought it on release day and finished it over the weekend. Amazing game. I love side-scrollers, love the metroid series, and this is one of the best for sure. Having a lot of fun with it still - planning on doing a hard mode speedrun soon to unlock other ending stuff.

Midnight Mass - I finished watching this Netflix series and it's really stuck with me. I love the creator, Mike Flanagan. Just about everything he's made (with the exception of Before I Wake) is fantastic. This series though just kind of blew me away. Highly recommended.

Fatale by Ed Brubaker - I've been reading through this comic series over the last couple of weeks, and finished it last night. Loved it, just like everything else Brubaker has made. God, I'd love to see this one as a television series though. I feel like it could be amazing. The story is great though, with a lot of really cool ideas and just a gritty, grimy feel about everything.

Those are the big things that I've been doing this week. I'm sure I also watched some other stuff, but it obviously didn't stick with me as much, because I can't remember it now. Haven't really done anything else interesting outside of that, I guess. Boring life. Still want to go to the beach.
