Hey everybody! Last week has been pretty eventful for me. I did a lot of adult things. But not the type of adult things I usually like to do.

I'm 30 years old, but I've never done things like buy a car in my name, get a credit card, own my own house, deal with medical insurance. I don't even pay for my own cell phone service. It's like, I went from being dependent on my parents, to being dependent on my ex-husband, to being dependent on my partner.

Well, things are changing, buster! Thanks to you guys and your amazing support of my game, I can do things on my own now. Starting next year, I will have health insurance for the first time in about 8 years. I have my first credit card and am working to build credit, so that I can do things like buy a car. And I feel more independent and capable than I've ever felt in my life. It's incredible.

Oh, I was able to do another thing too, that I've never been able to do, thanks to you all. Ever since my partner and I started dating, I've been unemployed and barely making any money by self-publishing novels. So when Christmas rolled around each year, I was just like, I love you, but I don't have money to buy you anything. Not this year, buster! I bought her something really nice. And I was able to get my mom and sister stuff too.

On another note, I scheduled my COVID vaccine booster for tomorrow. Me and my partner are both getting it at the same time. We wanted to get it before the holidays so we could be a bit safer when we go visit her family in Austin.

I guess that's about all I have to talk about today. Boring adult stuff. But it's also very exciting adult stuff for me. It's an amazing feeling to have worked on this game for almost two years now and have it really paying off like this, to the point where I can feel my life changing, solely because of your support.
