RJ Ramblings

Like, I've been pretty much doing the same thing as the week before and the week before that. Time feels like it's been passing so quickly.
Oh, there's a couple new things! I decided to try Hello Fresh - all the podcasts and Youtube advertisements finally got to me. I have had less and less time to make a meal plan, go shopping, cook, and clean up. Plus, our local grocery stores (there's not a lot of choice in the small town where I live) always have the same stuff on sale every week, and the produce has been very low quality for a while. So I'm hoping to get some better quality food and maybe save a little time with the planning and the shopping and the cooking. I get my first box today and I'm really excited about it. I'll let you know how it goes. They ain't paying me shit, btw, so if they suck, I'll tell you about it.
I started playing Far Cry 6 a little bit last night. Was pretty fun! I've been playing a game called Orb of Creation a bit on Steam, which is a pretty interesting take on an incremental game. Also, have been playing one on my phone called Dawncaster that is actually a REALLY good card-based deckbuilding RPG. Recommend that one a lot.
Watched some movies too. Last night we watched Three Billboards Outside Ebbings, Missouri, which I thought was great. On Friday night, we watched Joe Bob's Last Drive-In, which is a horror double feature on Shudder hosted by Joe Bob Riggs, who is an old school horror hosts who talks trivia and other nonsense between the movies. Was fun. The first movie they showed was Night of the Living Dead, which I've seen a billion times (and still love). Second movie though was one that I'd never seen and didn't know anything about called Antropophagus. It's an Italian horror movie about a cannibal stalking people on an island. It had a couple good moments, but overall I found it really dull.
I think that's about it? Still been reading comics, listening to true crime podcasts, stuff like that. Excited for the vacation on Friday.
