RJ Ramblings

I think this is the first Monday in a while that I've written one of these, where I feel pretty down. I got hit with this wave of depression over the weekend. A sudden feeling like my life is passing by too quickly and I'm missing out on everything that I want to do. It sometimes feels like I've just been on pause and the world has passed me by. Feels like I'm stuck in one place with very few options on where to go from here.
Overall, I'm happy with my life, but I'm ready for something new, you know? I want to travel, I want to make new friends, I want to better myself. And I feel like it's very hard to move forward with that sometimes.
The game, and you all, are definitely helping me in that regard. A big reason why I've been stuck in the same place for so long is because of lack of money. Without money, there's just no options. Now, I feel like I have a few more options opening up. The main thing I feel like I need to do is move. New house. New city. New life. I need a change, badly.
Aside from the deep life stuff, I've been playing Pokemon, going on long walks/runs, every day, and enjoying my time working on the game. Also, I have a new Lego set (the motorized lighthouse) coming in today that'll likely boost my mood a bit.

She helped me out a lot, before her I thought I was doomed to the life I had. I hope you and yours find a way to be happy. Change can be good, and sometimes it is needed. I wish you ALL the best.

I'm close to retirement now (I know, dirty old man), but when I was younger, I had a job that took me all over the world, and I do not regret one single second. Live your life, and be happy!
