ANNOUNCEMENT: Switching over to subscription billing
Added 2022-12-18 14:01:10 +0000 UTCHey everybody. Just a little announcement today, as far as billing is concerned on Patreon.
Formerly, the only billing model on Patreon was that you always get billed on the 1st of the month. Which means that if you signed up on the 29th of November, you'd get billed on that day, and then get billed on the 1st of December again.
Now I have switched over to Patreon's new model, which means that you get billed on whatever date you sign up on. If you sign up on the 29th of November, you get billed on that day and then again on the 29th of December.
This will not affect existing patrons. Existing patrons will continue to be billed on the 1st of the month, unless they edit their pledge or cancel and renew.
Hopefully this is clear and I you guys understand. I think most creators have already switched over to this - I'm a little late to the change, because once the change is made it can't be switched back. I think it'll be good for future patrons though, and doesn't change anything at all for existing patrons.
