RJ Ramblings

Hey everybody! 

Has been a fairly boring week here again, until yesterday. Yesterday, while brushing one of my doggos. Big, fluffy Great Pyrenees named Peluche, we noticed a deep wound on the top of his back foot. After talking to a friend online who's wife is a veterinarian, we think that it's probably an abscess that has burst. Vets were closed yesterday, on Sunday, so we just cleaned it out the best we could. 

This morning, I took Peluche to the vet. They didn't have an appointment available, so I had to drop him off and leave him, and they will hopefully get him in at some point throughout the day today. I feel so bad leaving him up there, where he's going to have to sit in a crate all day. But I know that he needs this looked at. He was supposed to go to the groomer tomorrow too, but we cancelled that. Just too much going on, and that wound probably needs some time to heal before then. 

We have another dog too, a Shepherd mix named Panchito, who is extremely attached to Peluche. He was not happy at all when I took Peluche away and left him at the house. My partner stayed with him to help keep him calm, but he's been crying and scared the whole time. 

These silly dogs are such a handful all the time, but I love them. Anyways, I'm sure Peluche will be fine, just feel bad for him. 

Other than that whole mess, I've been doing okay. I took most of the day off yesterday and just played some video games, which I haven't done in a while. Tried out a bunch of games that I'd downloaded but hadn't played yet. 

• "Signalis" - amazing and I can't wait to play more of it.
• "Flynn: Son of Crimson" and "Moonscars" - both were pretty okay, but nothing that grabbed me a whole lot. 
• "Control" - fun so far. 
• "Wildfire" - for some reason I was having technical issues with it on Steam so I didn't get very far. What I played was really interesting though, and I'd like to play more of it, if I can get it to work right, or just pick it up on console. 
• Emily is Away <3 - Interesting game that attempts to recreate Facebook as it was in 2008. Fun way to tell a story. 
• Against the Storm - This one was fun. It's a city-builder type of game. I only played the first level, but I want to play more for sure. Reminded me of a phone game called Bonfire a bit. 
• Horizon Zero Dawn - I'm about 20 hours into this one, but decided to play a little last night and try to actually finish it. 

It's been so long since I've finished a game. Having so many games easily available to me just kinda makes me want to play them all, so I'm so easily distracted. But hopefully I'll finish some of these at some point!
