Deku inspired by that one "I'm so blessed" panel (*¯︶¯*)

During my last stream, I put on some MHA opening covers and that took me back to an icy winter morning in 2020. I was walking to my workplace - a fast food restaurant - and listening to one of the NWTB covers... Heroes, Peace Sign or Make My Story.

Let me just quote Peace Sign to set the mood:

One day I set my eyes up to the sky
And like a plane my dreams were passing by
And I awoke to tears that had filled my eyes
I need to spread my wings out and fly

Back then I had like 4 Twitter followers, wasn't in BNHA fandom yet, and the idea of one day drawing for a living felt like an ambitious daydream. Still, every day I spent my time off work (/uni) drawing. Reaching for the moon from the sky.

And yet somehow we got here. To the point where I didn't have to spend 2021 working part-time in whatever job I could get instead of drawing. And that is thanks to you all.

The beginning of 2022 was full of worry and uncertainty, it still is. But step by step those insane dreams don't feel so far away. You gave me the chance to work hard on improving my art and not worry if I'll be able to pay my rent or buy food. You gave me the starting point where I can find new opportunities and build a ladder long enough to reach the moon.

I've been so busy working harder, reaching further, worrying about things,... And in the middle of all that, I forgot I'm already way past that unreachable dream. I already got a platform and people seeing my work. I already got food on my table and a job that allows me to spend as much time drawing as I want.

So I just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate all of you! (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡

I'm excited to work on the ending of DTB (which will take longer than I expected but ooop...) and I can't wait to start thinking what comes after it!
