Added 2025-03-05 19:49:03 +0000 UTCMy mom was annoyed I had not sent her any of my fan art from Armored Core or my fan game (Amour’d Core). She texted me back all of her favorite characters. My parents have always been extremely encouraging in my love of video game art, and my career as a developer and artist. Just feeling very grateful right now for my parents who have never once shamed me for loving video games. This text made me a little homesick - even with Rusty‘s butt in the screenshot.

This is so wholesome, Beth. Your work is awesome and I'm so happy you had such great parents. I'm very happy they are pround of what you do. They should be. Unfortunately there are so many cases of parents being unsuportive of their child, which is heartbreaking. I am extremely glad you and your parents are in good terms. Lots of love to you all <3
