If you're wondering how they put these suits on they basically have to be 3D printed onto their bodies, and each suit is structured to the biometrics of each pilot. It's a little like G Gundam but less stretchy. They wear out after a little while and have to be reapplied, which is annoying. The hands need to be reapplied the most, and they get sweaty and lose elasticity the fastest so pilots tend to remove them as soon as they exit the AC. You don't need it to pilot an AC, but it helps automate some functions. Vespers are required to wear them in public, as per Snail's order. None of this is canon.
