"To Protect & Serve" (Animated music video against police brutality)
Added 2023-02-02 21:25:43 +0000 UTCI wrote a song about police brutality. I actually started work on these lyrics during the protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd. It felt like a very raw topic for me to wade into at the time, so I sat on it and finished it up some time last year. I then worked with a very talented animator from my city called Lil Saucy Knuckles / Carlton Matthews who made this lovely hand crafted video that I think really brings out the meaning of the song.
