Hope you all are doing awesome and staying healthy. I am back in my hometown for the time being cos Denver is a germ pool and so is my roommate. So I was like: I’m outta here broski.
But anyways for this illustration I used reference for the older 2019 version. But for the 2020 revamp I wanted to do the same but capture the same essence of the character. And this a good example of how to use reference. It is the same pose but I mainly used the reference image as a way to help find the shape of the clothes.
Remeber: REFERENCE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!!! Use it!!!
