LNT Site Progression & YHKO Patreon Campaign

Hello everyone! It’s me Nefarian. Today I have some awesome news to share about the progression of the site and how you can help join my campaign so that I can continue to output a huge stream of these exciting and wonderful stories for everyone to enjoy.

Since I started hiring translators recently, I have seen a constant rise in the daily amount of page views and active users participating (commenting) and reading at Light Novels Translations (LNT).

About a month ago the average page views would amount to around 40,000 ~ page views but now we are seeing an average of 60,000~ pageviews daily, this is an amazing amount of increase within a month and I would like to be able to continue producing more content for you readers so that the trend sticks!

Hiring people is definitely not something that comes naturally to me, but I have tried my best to obtain not only high quality translators, but also people who are actually passionate about the stories and enjoy reading them as much as any of you (This is very important as you can really tell when someone doesn’t like what they are actually translating >.< lol).

As some of you may know I started translating as a “one-man-army” doing 3-4 novels at one time producing 3-4 chapters per novel each week amounting to around 12-14 chapters each week (not counting any sponsored chapters that I needed to release). This was possible because I was highly passionate and motivated about the novels and mainly because I didn’t have an actual full time job at the time.

Right now I am transitioning away from the “one-man-army” mentality and I am more about working as a team to output a more consistent result.

In order to facilitate this growth, we have decided to create a campaign within the Light Novels Translations Patreon Page for people who want to show their support to the site and enable us to continue to deliver at this astounding pace.

To put things in perspective:

I have concentrated my efforts on the seven novels on the site namely: Yuusha ni Horobosareru (YHKO), I Became a Living Cheat, My Sister is a Heroine and I the Villainess, Different World Gender Change, Maou no Hajimekata, Man Eating Dungeon and The Sweet Prince’s Search.

Across all these novels, I am making sure (27) Chapters each week gets produced, checked and released on to the site.

Not only that but if you guys subscribe to the LNT Patreon, you will be able to access multiple advanced chapters depending on your Tier. All content is now instantly available so you don’t have to be worried about not receiving the chapters upon registration. (you do have to message me on Patreon from which one of us will give a private link to my Google Drive enabling access to the chapters)

The goal is to kick-start our patreon so that we will be able to continue hiring and LNT will be able to produce more high quality content for you guys to enjoy. The goal is also to grow together as a community, involving our staff in the campaigns and share some of the profits back to them as a means for rewarding them for being with LNT. The first campaign will be specifically directed to the novel YHKO. Manga0205, who is the translator for this novel, will be sharing the reward of the campaign. I sincerely hope to gain as much support from everyone and depending on the success of this campaign, LNT will be able to do more exciting campaigns with all the other translators on the site in the future.

For every $20 donated to the LNT Patreon Page, we will personally ensure that a Chapter of YHKO is released within 6-12 Hours. (I have prepared for this by already having a certain amount of backed up chapters, so you guys don’t have to worry about not getting the extra chapters). I will personally update the progress every single time a person donates on Patreon to show complete transparency. To clarify things a little, remember that in Patreon, it doesn’t have to be one person donating $100, it can be as simple as multiple people donating $2 but it amounting to $20, at which point I will release the YHKO Chapter.

The current rate of release for YHKO is 3 Chapters each week. But I hope with the push of this campaign to see more than 7 Chapters being released each week.
