Its like YGE wants them to break out of that girl crush concept so they give them more soft and fun songs. But then they realize they are a YG group and have to stick to the brand of "badass girl crush" I personally think their softer and fun songs fit them the best. It's like a mix of using powerful vocals and strong rap. 'Forever' being a good example. They just need to find a way to balance both with it being too much of a drastic change with every song. I do like their music but that's just what I think could be improved

I just feel like a lot could've been done better with this album and they need to find ways to either make the raps fit the song or make the transitions more cohesive. I really like the girls though, and props to Rora especially holding down vocals in the absence of Rami. but yeah... beautiful gowns :)

I’m struggling with the “we’re talented little babies” vibe they were given with songs like Batter Up and Hot Sauce, and then randomly they start talking all big and bad using language that is just inauthentic to them “when we pull up it’s on sight”. I truly wouldn’t mind if YG kept them in a rnb bag bc they do it well, Love Maybe is one I always go back to. It’s at the point I don’t know what to think of when I see their brand. Not every group needs a strong duality of girl crush and badass, they need to stick to one sound imo.
