That's what I'm thinking, they didn't want competition for Taeyeon. I don't think SM debuts soloist unless they were apart of their groups first

Every time I think of why SM didn't debut her I literally can't think of anything except maybe they didn't want her to challenge what Taeyeon is for them. But imo why not have both. Cause it makes no sense to not debut her then have her help work on multiple songs for aespa T^T (But EJAE loves aespa down so I bypass SM for that I guess...)
