Episode XXIV: New School

In just a few weeks, she'll be the "new girl" in fifth grade at a school where we know practically no one, and where no one (except for a handful of staff members) knows that she's transgender. How to handle this?!? I wish I knew!
In this episode, you'll hear me and my daughter discussing how to approach this. And you'll hear me agonizing over it. And then you'll hear me asking for YOUR input. I really would love to hear what you think.

2018-09-02 12:48:05 +0000 UTCI hope her new school is as welcoming as her last. My husband and I are from Seattle and it's a progressive area, but I know if you leave Seattle it gets a little more conservative. We wish her the best in her new school and is supported for who she is.
