2025-04-09 19:24:01 +0000 UTCThis Texas book, real "shut up and take my money!" vibes. In the 1914 statewide election, the Socialist party of Texas won more votes than the Republican party. Check out the newspaper "The Rebel" (Hallettsville, Texas) The Rebel was begun by Edward Otto Meitzen and Thomas Hickey and was the voice to the Texas Socialist Party.
