I was working in a mill (still do) called out sick but really I was on a bender and Michael and Matt Binder were talking Brazil and Dilma and after being a poli-sci nerd and one of the only vocal left voices in in small town USA back in high school. I kind of stopped following the news and let my natural leftist tendencies inform how I treat my coworkers with respect and dignity. Discovering Michael Brooks and getting to see him evolve into having his own show and making time for Tuesday nights even when I had to watch the show the next day because I was working a night shift that month. Fuck theres only been a few times as an adult that I’ve been brought to grief and I wish I had been to one of the live shows even though I was living paycheck to paycheck like every one else. I miss him so much. I love you guys Matt Lech super producer and David too. The chemistry and roster on TMBS was immense. Love from the boondocks ✊🏽
