I was also one that was like, "I want to serve, but don't want to be involved in killing people..." I'm sure that's a HUGE sentiment across most youth that's just not talked about, back that up with the same incentives thrown at our kids for being human shields and I bet we'd have an even harder time trying to recruit into the death cult of the military.
