It is amazing how we have to fight so hard and take so much shit for a party that will give us crums and perceived civility against a party that will give us none, because we can't stand for the Republicans abhorrent cruelty. What a great choice we have in this country. The terrible underbelly of this duopoly.

I was thinking about how it feels like when I've had beat up cars that I knew was gonna break down because I could afford to fix. Part of me would breath a sigh of relief when the inevitable disaster did happen because it took that anxiety that this is going to happen go away and then I'd by necessity bust ass figuring out my next move
