RE: If it's possible to add an option for Step to be closeted (and also if it's possible to add an option for Step to have been closeted in their hero days and be out now, which I've also seen people wondering about) It is possible! Through the power of string variables (I don't think I can name the one I'm thinking of here though), although it is a bit tricky/finicky in some places. Closeted MCs would be a lot easier to implement than previously-closeted (newly out?) MCs, particularly because I assume the second would result in more reactivity and I could see that ballooning a bit. (The first version of this comment I wrote a huge super long thing about what spots in Rebirth would need changing/looking at and how exactly you could go about implementing both of these, but I think it got filtered out as spam. It was super super long... unless it wasn't filtered out at all, in which case: very sorry about the repeat comment! I forgot the concept of editing existed when I deleted it.)

2023-11-22 06:04:52 +0000 UTCHello there, I've been very sick for a while now or I'd have brought it up as a proper question, but would Jake wear a zoot suit? Everytime I think of him I picture him wearing a really nice custom zoot suit, sort of like the Joker from The Animated Series. A properly made white & black zoot suit would look delightful on him I think. Plus the shear number of weapons & other toys that could have within arms reach is truly astounding if the Tailor knew how to design it right. The fact that old LA gangsters used to wear almost exclusively zoot suits if they wanted to be taken seriously makes it impossible for me to see him in anything else. Jake just strikes me as a proper respectful gangster almost old timey like, I know a lot of old gangsters that actually aged out of the game who used to run in LA. Have I wandered wildly off into headcannon here?
