So unfortunately, there will necessarily be a few visual differences between the new tone mapping enabled version of C13 Aegis and 1.0. The method behind the tone mapping itself unfortunately treats highlights differently and as such minor adjustments to glare had to be made. The title image demonstrates the current glare with the new tonemapping enabled on CSP 0.1.80-preview218. Perhaps a bit extreme with the godrays, feedback wanted. But the new tonemapping was always going to look different by design. I wanted to maintain the old tonemapping look between 1.0 and the next release. But there will be differences.
1.0 look:

1.14 look (ac tone mapping)

The differences are minor, but they are there even at daytime. Nigh time is quite a bit more pronounced:
1.14 Night with new tone mapping

1.14 with ac tone mapping

1.0

As you can see the 1.0 to 1.14 with new tone mapping the differences are mostly in tone, while the general appearance of the glare is fairly evenly matched. The side effect of this is that the 1.14 glare with old tone mapping is significantly more pronounced. Do let me know how you feel about any of these things, i'm looking forward to hearing your feedback.
