The stranger stood silently in the center of the room, her face cold and impenetrable, like a mask devoid of the slightest emotion. It seemed that she was not at all embarrassed by the picture: naked Kaidan and barefoot Isabella in a wedding dress, with her hands tied behind her back. As if this was an ordinary scene for her, not worthy of attention. Isabella was struck by her icy composure.
The stranger bowed gracefully in a deep curtsey, first fixing her impeccable gaze on Kaidan:
- Mr. Sanders.
Then, slightly smiling with the corners of her thin lips, she looked attentively at Isabella and again bowed politely:
- Mrs. Sanders.
Isabella carefully studied the girl.
Her appearance was striking in its impeccable sophistication. The stranger looked like a living porcelain doll - cold and mysterious at the same time. Isabella's attention was immediately drawn to the steel bracelets on her slender ankle and graceful neck, which were strangely similar to those that Isabella herself wore. The bracelets clearly featured the familiar monogram in the form of the letter "K", only on the stranger it shimmered dark copper, shimmering with a warm, copper-red shade, as if an ironic contrast to their cold base.
"Why does she have the same bracelets?" - an anxious thought flashed through Isabella's head. What did this mean? How was this connected with her? Questions flashed through her mind, causing a growing feeling of anxiety and confusion.
