Early Look: Water Hair 🌊✨ + content I’m working on this week! 📝

Hi guys! 🥰

I hope you all had a happy & restful weekend :) I've been getting over a cold for the past few days so I've been having lots of chill drawing sessions 😌 Here's a fun painting study I finished to practice an idea I've had for a while -- painting water hair! 🐳

It was definitely a challenge but I feel like I learned a lot!! 😍

I also screen-recorded the full painting process so you guys will get to see the real-time video of my struggles and experiments until I got to the finished product (including a whole hand pose that I painted over halfway through and a bunch of other weird moments lolol) 😂 But during the process I discovered a new layer mode that I really love and some other techniques, so you'll get to see it in the video! 🥰 I'll start editing it this week:)

This week I also want to create a blog post about how to post your art on Instagram (or anywhere online) while still preserving the clarity and quality of your drawing so you don't lose any resolution! This is something I get asked about a lot, so I'm excited to share my process with you all:)
