Early Look: Peonies 🌷✨ + what I’m working on this week! 📝

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you’re all having a lovely & beautiful day 💛

Here is an early look at my most recent drawing I’m calling “peonies”! Inspired by one of my favorite flowers ☺️ For this drawing I wanted to try using a color palette that I don’t use very often: red & purple!

I put a lot of thought into the colors I wanted to use for this particular drawing, and so I decided to create a little sheet explaining how I experimented with different color palettes to get to this one! I’ll show you guys some different strategies I used to figure out my colors 💛 So that’s what I’ll be working on today ☺️

There will also be a process video of this drawing for all Big-Hearted Butterfly patrons, and a layered PSD & Procreate file for all Devoted Dragonflies! 🦋✨ so stay tuned for those goodies 💌

In other news, today I’m also going to do some filming for the February studio vlog! 🥳🎞 I’m hoping to finish all the filming this week and hopefully begin the editing process by this weekend, fingers crossed hehe 🙈 I can’t wait to share this one with you guys! 🥰 I’m starting to feel much more comfortable filming which is so exciting ☺️
