I'm gonna get ahead of YT and let you know that you did AMAZING on the comprehension aspect of the lore and storytelling, especially when it had been so long since season 1! Now I know you likely wouldn't have the time or maybe enough interest to do so, but let me tell you that you would get SO much out of a rewatch of season 1 in your own time. The breadcrumbs and side conversations that take place all throughout S1 suddenly click and make a lot more sense having watched everything up to this point already, and especially with season 2 being fresh. It was really rewarding when I read the S2 content of the manga last year and then watched season 1 reactions. I mean it when I say you'll get a lot more out of it! I'm excited to watch Vinland Saga along with you next, I've watched the first few episodes on my own and will be watching your ep 1 reaction soon.
