His mom wasn’t a great role model, the teachers always expected the worst out of him, and his reputation made life difficult to navigate. It’s kind of that young mindset that a lot of us can fall into where we think the world is against us. His wake really opened his eyes to how people truly felt about him.

2024-01-15 15:10:55 +0000 UTCI remember watching this before I even knew what anime was 🤣 The voice acting reminds me a LOT of dragon ball z where they did a lot of winging it with the translating to make it more "westernized". It has a unique charm to it though and I agree its very nostalgic!
