Now that both of the star love interests have been shown (as kids at least), I'm really curious as to what people are thinking. Do you like the style? Are you feeling good about this being our next project with these two as the new leads? We'd love to hear your thoughts so far! We've only had ourselves to talk about all this until now, haha.
But I personally am super pleased with them. I think they're absolutely autumnal and nicely distinct from each other. Here's a little side by side compare of them.
We're looking forward to posting more and more about the game in the coming weeks/months. There's so many neat things we've got planned :D

2021-03-05 21:21:35 +0000 UTCThey're both *adorable*! :D By that, I mean Tamarack is *actually* adorable and just makes me want to hug her (kind of like a Wigglytuff, if you've ever seen the Pokémon), whereas Qiu is definitely confident, but in a cute way. They look *exactly* how I imagined them based on their descriptions. The vibes each gives off are simply perfect. :) The art style is lovely, and I think it wonderfully captures the warmth and comfort one associates with the activities surrounding and associated with autumn. It's clearly different from Our Life: B&A, but the difference is not only good, it's *great*. This game will be its own thing, just like siblings are similar, yet distinct. I'm already looking forward to it. ^_^

I also love the softer and more blended lines and colors. I actually prefer that style when I draw more earthy vibe art. 10/10 in my book
