Added 2021-06-08 18:01:01 +0000 UTCWe've put together various screenshots to add to game pages for the project. They're quite cute so I figured I'd share them here ahead of time. You can see how your MC's doll appears on the textbox, along with icons for the NPCs too. And not only that, there's also two ways the textbox can be formatted! There's the bubble that appears near the speaker and keeps the icons small, or you can have a stationary bubble that shows the icon more largely.
Being able to change the font size and switching to a more dyslexia friendly font are options included in the game as well. So you'll really be able to control how the text is presented to you.

Thank you so much for having multiple options. While I don't need the feature, having a dyslexia friendly format is so great of you guys to do. OL is such an accessible game I love seeing it become even moreso.

I just want to have my own vision in my head of what my character looks like, and the doll isn't going to be what I envision.

2021-06-08 19:14:28 +0000 UTCIt's nice to see random screenshots for OL2. The overall vibe is very comfortable and, I think, more cohesive than OL1's. I'm a little unsure about the face icons next to the names of characters who are on-screen and speaking because I can't tell what they're intended for--are they a visual status of something the character model isn't showing (like an overall 'how much they like you')? Because otherwise it not only seems somewhat redundant, but also if it's not conveying information then it's taking up space; Tamarack's speech bubble in particular feels very crowded. If it's something you can turn off or on, then that's great. I think showing the face icon is much more effective in the MC's speech bubble since you never see the MC on-screen, though!
