Our Life: Beta Build 0.98 (Lead Up to Ceremony! PC, Mac, & Android)
Added 2021-12-29 18:53:26 +0000 UTCHaha, wow Cove, that's so true it hurts. Here's the latest Cove Wedding DLC beta build! Nearly all the scripts for the DLC are written (only three scenes are left), but we did run out of time to fully program/test a lot of them so it's not the 100% complete experience. There's still plenty to do in this beta, though, and I hope you'll have fun if you give it a try.
Save files from the main game should work with this beta build, but save files from older beta builds likely won't.
New Content:
- Many new scenes were added: the wedding traditions discussion, asking people to walk you or Cove down the aisle (if you choose to do that tradition), an outing to decide your dinner menu, picking out your venue/reception, the final meeting for planning the wedding, the morning of the wedding
- You can also skip directly to Step 4 by starting a new file
- Some errors from before were fixed
What's Missing:
- There's one planning scene that's still not programmed, an outing where you go shopping for your wedding clothes
- Adult Baxter doesn't have voiced lines yet

Just played the beta and have a suggestion: When talking about seeing each other before the wedding, an option like having connecting rooms so they can talk through the door or meeting in a room but being back-to-back so they can't see each other would be cute. I have friends that have done the same room, not looking at each other thing irl and the video footage from that moment was super adorable lol.
