Our Life 2: Serenity (Step 2, Sketch)
Added 2022-02-03 19:01:01 +0000 UTCThis is Serenity, a demigirl who uses she/they! She attends the same school as the main group, though is one year younger and a grade below. So in Step 2 she's only 13. She's friends with Tamarack and Vianca, and potentially the MC too. Ren seems nice to her but the age gap is a bit too wide for them to hang out. And Qiu is way too intimidating to talk to. She doesn't know how anyone manages that, and also how some people think it's Vianca who's hard to approach? Wild.
Serenity loves keeping up with current shows and games and is very invested in their favorite stories/characters, and they do enjoy telling everyone about it, even if they've done it a million times before. They're also pretty invested in the who's who goings on at school. But she does struggle to know when to say when it comes to topics outside of her interests.
She's able to get along well with Tamarack because neither of them are social butterflies, and they're definitely not "cool" kids. And Tamarack has to admit that she is a little bit nosy and does find it interesting to hear about what's going on with the fellow students around. Vianca is fun for Serenity to be around because Vianca is happy to listen to what she has to say and doesn't insist on changing topics.
Serenity is kind of an opposite to Qiu, since they do like to switch pronouns around interchangeably and they're very firm in their gender identity even at this age.

But once I do learn who someone is, I never forget them. Looking forward to discovering what makes all these lvoie folks memorable =)
