Month Beginning Post: February 2022 - Wedding DLC Release Date & Plushie Poll!

It's official, the Wedding DLC is done and we're creating the build to launch! But there were also other things that came together around this time that we'll be releasing as well. So, here's everything that'll be available on February 7th:

• The Cove Wedding DLC itself
• The voiced lines for Step 4 Cove saying the name options on the Voiced Name Screen, in both the base game and the wedding DLC
• Fixes for some of the lingering errors in the main game, including the problem Linux users have had getting the game to launch
• Updates to how the DLCs are managed/implemented to make it better overall

Along with that wonderful news, there's another special thing happening. You see, just in case it becomes relevant, I was wondering what kind of Cove plushie people might be interested in getting for themselves if those were to exist. For the next few days we'll be running a poll on Twitter where you can let me know if you'd prefer a child, teen, young adult, or fully grown Cove companion in your real life.

Monthly Content Plans:

Of course we're finally launching the Wedding DLC, thank goodness. Besides that, this will be an unusual month. We'll be leaving Cove's story behind for now and changing our focus completely to Derek's story and the Our Life: Now & Forever prologue. It's exciting, though a little hard to believe I have to shift my mindset fully out of writing for Cove.

Because things are starting pretty fresh with the upcoming content, there may not be any beta launches this month. We'll see if we can get something fully implemented, but I don't know if it'd be Derek content or more OL2 scenes or neither.

I do know that this is the month Qiu and Tamarack's Step 2 versions will be shown publicly (you can see them here on Patreon already)! I'm very interested in finding out what people think of their next step in life, haha. 

We'll see how February ends up going while doing our best to jump in to the next expansions on our list 💖
