2022-12-25 03:18:58 +0000 UTCSame, to me it was a bit late though XD I was charmed by him, like him Ido flirt with friends if they are ok with that but at the same time while I really liked Derek and Baxter it mostly focused on Cove so I was unable to picture out more about them because you get to know them on a personal level only if you play the DLC, so while I liked them at the same time I wasn't that interested and Derek was adorable in step 3 and I have a weak spot for adorable things and kids (I kniw it might sound wrong but I assure you it's not the weird way) and childhood romance so him blushing when we pick the book for him made me freak out when I connected the dots, but still I was neutral about them. It's thanks to the Wedding DLC that I got to see more of Baxter and while late it made me realize that subconsciously (sorry if wrong, english isn't my first language) he was the one I actually liked the most but I'm someone who feel guilty easily even if it's fictional so saying that I preferred Baxter all along while being excited about Derek DLC and Cove make me feel bad, my mind tells me I'm being hypocrit but I know that it's just intrusive thoughts XD Either way I'm really happy about Baxter DLC, out of the 3 he's surely the one who makes me more interested in his DLC and from what I've seen he actually feel more relatable than what I thought.

As soon as I first saw him in step 3 (didn't meet him in step 2 until way later, though I knew it was possible after a while), I KNEW it was HIM, the one and only soul mate to my MC. So I guess knowing ever since my very first playthrough's Step 3 that Cove is only a "temporary" romance while waiting for Baxter helped me in general. Though it also made me even more eager for him. I live for his appeareances, in both games!

2022-12-22 13:11:59 +0000 UTCI already wrote a comment in answer to someone else similiar to this, but I'm going to write another one XD I loved Derek a bit more between Baxter and Derek, I obviously don't regret it and I love Derek//Cove a lot but after seeing the Wedding DLC scene with him and that slightly "angst" moment that made him more interesting in my eyes, plus the fact that I loved dancing with him both in Step 2 and 4 and him opening up while dancing was really nice/cute, plus all of his character/moments in general but I wasn't that much inspired by neither Derek or Baxter (even if both their personality were known there wasn't that much that would make me interested in them on a deeper level unless I actually played their DLC, without DLC I can't really find out if they interest me or not since they don't appear a lot and when they do it's still Cove focused) but thanks to the Wedding DLC of Cove that actually gave a more in dept glance into Baxter real self I felt even more intrigued than before when he occasionally appeared, so I'm definetely, 100% sure the one I'm most interested in with is Baxter. Cove and Derek were nice and I played all scenarios with them, I loved them all, but at the same time Baxter feels more like my type than the other two even if they definetely have a really important space in my heart and love both their romance and platonic route.

2022-12-22 11:30:15 +0000 UTCLiterally same, at first I was all over Derek but after the Wedding DLC and the first time meeting Baxter that quickly shifted direction, after playing Derek DLC followed by the first part of Baxter DLC I came to the conclusion that Baxter is most likely the one I like the most (even if all 3 of them are precious) there's something about Baxter, the fact that he's not how he actually first looked like once you get closer to him plus all the "drama" with him is making me more interested in him, he's surprisingly adorable and kinda like a scared child (if you attempt to make him go into the water he quickly grab you and his behavior is completely different, kinda more scared) in some parts and the initial drama of Baxter wanting to stay close and the MC wanting him to stay close (when changing) but not wanting him there afraid to be a bother/make him uncomfortable when searching comfort from someone you don't know that well was amazing, at least I think that this was the issue from what I understand, I'm not perfect with english but my writing is kinda better than my translation so I'm not sure if I read that right.
