Welcome to the GB Patch monthly goals post for April. We've set up a lot of dominos over the past few months, and the hope is that soon we're gonna be knocking them down all in a row.

First off, some new tier perks will be going into effect this month. You can read about that update HERE. You can keep an eye out for those new posts.
Now let's get into the different goals for our two major games.
Our Life: Beginnings & Always-
This is it, Baxter's DLC is going to get a full beta build. Hopefully, if everything works out. It may be missing art and will likely have errors, however this month's beta should have a script all the way to the end and maybe even voice acting. That's the general plan; getting the last bits of writing, editing, and programming done.
The Baxter DLC "coming soon" page is going to go live too, so people can save/follow it. We may even be able to announce a release date! Though that might have to wait until May.
Our Life: Now & Forever-
This is it, again! I'm also planning for a new OL2 beta to come out that will include the entire Step 1 prologue. It's almost funny how long it took to get something as simple as a prologue done, but here we are, aha. The Step 1 Moments will be coming along at a much more consistent rate.
In order to do that we only need to get proofreading and programming done; the script was finished last month. I'll also be drafting more OL2 scenes to come and could find the time to begin writing one of the ten Step 1 Moments.

So, here we go. There's a lot of high expectations for April and we're gonna do our best to follow through on it all. Unfortunately, I am still in a non-optimal living situation, but even with that it should be possible. Thanks for coming along with the development 🥰️

2023-04-25 01:43:15 +0000 UTCI do have something I noticed in testing out the beta. Not sure if this is appropriate to post here(if so, let me know where would be better). In "Planning" Baxter indicates that he hasn't met Miranda yet, but if you do "Hang" before that he actually has met her.

2023-04-24 23:25:37 +0000 UTCI just realized something when playing Derek DlC and Baxter Beta. I'm not sure if maybe it's just me having the issue but just to be sure I'll write it here. During Derek DLC in step 2 during the time where I have to chose if jump into the pool holding Derek hand, alone and other ways to go in it repeat that option choice twice. As for Baxter I noticed that in Step 4 during the time where you have to pick some clothes for the date/friendly outing for that bar with the actors, when you go back to your room to change it's day when it should be night. I don't know if someone already pointed it out in Baxter DLC and it's already on the way to be fixed for the next or last update but just in case I decided to mention it. There's also a third "issue" but I forgot what it was since I found it but I was too tired to write it, I think it was probably at step 4 prologue but I'm not sure.

2023-04-05 13:23:13 +0000 UTCProbably! But if Baxter's stuff takes longer than expected the OL2 beta may not happen until the very end of the month or even early next month. The hope is that I can in work on it in between Baxter progress and that it'll come together in not too much time.
