I hope Qiu gets to learn that in ballet, it's not boys and girls....it's the Lifter and the Liftee! Spinning someone over your head is not a gendered activity, and I hope Qiu gets to perform all the parts they want; I have no doubt that Qiu is the best DANCER period! Side note, but it would be so freaking funny to have the trio (Qiu, MC, Tamarack) play the rats in the Nutcracker.

OMG! The nutcracker is my favorite ballet! When I was still a ballet dancer, we’d perform this ballet every Christmas. I never got the part of Maria but it was still fun. Can’t wait to experience this again in the game.

Oh gosh, poor Qiu. I wonder if this moment made him feel dysphoric and he didn’t even understand why he was upset at the time, or if he had his suspicions or knew all along I hope MC can be there for him and assure him it’s okay to not want to do it, or be upset and find ways to reassure him. And later down the line help him through his identity journey. If he needs to do it on his own though, I’m sure MC will still be there for him and try to cheer him up. In this step and when they’re in the next step too. What I’m trying to say is regardless of what they’re made to do, I hope Qiu can find the fun in it, and I need to make fanfiction about him/them and MC at some point lol

As someone who goes by she/her but doesn't enjoy being referred to as a woman/girl/daughter etc, I so relate to Qiu here haha. I knew since I was little that I didn't like it but just couldn't figure out why. I can't wait to experience their storyline with them understanding and becoming more comfortable in their identity ❤️

The representation in this is so good 😭😭 From someone who grew up as trans youth the representation in this is incredible! It really shows that children can be uncomfortable in their gender without outright saying or recognizing it
