Hello again lovely patrons!

We just wrapped on - not the next episode, but the one after! - working title 'Jefferson & the Indians: the Complex Truth'

as that title implies, this one's about Thomas Jefferson!

we'll talk about how the land was taken from the American Indians and Jefferson's role in creating the modern USA

I've done something a bit different with this one. The aesthetics are stripped right the way back, it's just going to be me talking, and the voiceovers from various historical characters

it's a bit of a throwback visually to Philosophy Tube Season 2, where I just chatted in front of a bookshelf. Very plain, very simple - for reasons you'll understand when we get there

Nicki Buglewicz returned to do the hair and makeup, and even with simple jobs like this she nails it every time!

this time I did the styling myself - the budget that normally would have gone to Brian was reallocated to something else, a surprise that I can't reveal just yet but which I'm hoping (fingers crossed) to nail down very soon...

my suit was made by a lovely tailor named Nathalie May - the necklace is the Nebula logo, a gift from Nebula's boss Dave Wiskus!

I'm really proud of the script on this one. I did SO much research, it's a mammoth amount of work and I'm glad to finally have it out of my brain!

We were going to be filming this one across two days, but the crew actually did such an amazing job that we got through the whole thing in one day today!

I'm exhausted and my voice is tired from talking so much over the last two days, but I think this one will be worth it. Can't wait to share it with you!
