I love Andrew. He, like Anya, is well needed comic relief

2025-12-17 21:13:32 +0000 UTCI loved how you couldn’t recall Andrew’s name for most of his character’s scenes and then the other characters kept referring to him as “what’s his name?” 😂😂🤣🤣

2025-12-09 12:53:23 +0000 UTCCamden Toy back again as the uber vamp. I love Anya and Xander's little bad cop/good cop thing, they played that so well. Spike and Buffy's scenes are so well acted too. I really liked that they finally acknowledged Buffy's sexual relationship with Spike was about self loathing & punishment, not love and/or sexy fun time. The mystery with the Principal possibly being mixed up in something is really well done too. But this is also the point where the season started to go down hill for me when the episodes first aired. Buffy's initial encounter with 'The First', in season 3, she basically snarks at it, takes out it's minions fairly easily & only looks momentarily taken aback when she sees it's floaty hologram demon form. Now it's supposed to be this huge threat and she's saying how no one else felt how horribly evil this thing was, but she did. The First is a great concept, but maybe it's very first appearance should have reflected that a bit more, instead of Buffy throwing witticisms at it. I won't say anything else because for now it would be going too much into spoiler territory.
